Finger Lakes News & Notes - March 4, 2008

- Mrs. Wino & I had a great time in the Finger Lakes Information Booth at The Washington D.C. Wine Expo last weekend. We met a lot of great people as we spread the good word about The Finger Lakes and its wine. Thanks to Paul Thomas of Seneca Lake Wine Trail for the opportunity. Also, Thanks to Morgen from Finger Lakes Wine Country & Sheila from Corning Museum of Glass for helping us newbies. Finger Lakes wines were well-represented, with Dr. Frank, Standing Stone, and Hazlitt pouring their wine for the D.C. folks. I also finally got to meet in person my fellow blogger, Dezel of Virginia Vine Spot and we got to "talk wine" for a while. Be sure to visit his informative blog. I will be visiting the Wineries Unlimited Show in Valley Forge this week and I will give you a report.
